Board of Directors' Mission Statement
The mission of the 19th District Agriculture Association is to develop and maintain quality equine and public event facilities and to provide opportunities for positive guest experiences, in both education and entertainment by delivering professional service while becoming a financially self supporting entity.
Suzanne Perkins, Since 1999, she has been a real estate agent for Sotheby's International. From 1992 to 1999, Perkins was a real estate agent for Fred Sands and Company and, from 1991 to 1992, was an agent for David Schmidt and Company. From 1988 to 1991, she worked for the Lifestyle Water Company in sales and reception, and from 1979 to 1988, was self-employed in horse training and sales. Prior to that Perkins was flight service director for Pan American World Airways from 1966 to 1979. She is a member of the Santa Barbara County Parks Commission, the Santa Barbara County General Plan Advisory Committee for the Summerland Area and the California Association of Realtors. Perkins is also a United States Equestrian Federation, Incorporated licensed judge.
